Overview

A second medical opinion can help when a diagnosis feels unclear, a major surgery has been advised, treatment is not improving your symptoms, or your family wants to compare options before travelling. Medavelle does not issue the medical opinion ourselves. We organise your reports, understand your main concern, and coordinate review by a suitable doctor or hospital specialist so the response is useful, specific, and easier to discuss with your family.

• Organise reports, scans, prescriptions, discharge notes, and test results into one case file
• Coordinate a written opinion or remote consultation with a relevant specialist
• Help you understand the opinion, recommended next steps, and possible treatment pathways
• Prepare follow-up questions for the doctor when the recommendation needs more clarity

What to expect

• A coordinator may ask for missing reports before the case is sent for clinical review
• Turnaround depends on the specialty, doctor availability, and completeness of records
• The opinion may confirm the current plan, suggest further tests, or recommend an alternate treatment approach
• You remain free to choose your treating doctor, hospital, country, or no further treatment
